1. Hubert is the love of my life. He is such a good dad and husband. He is always there for me no matter what. And when I worry he has this way to help me talk through my worries and relax.

2. Gabriel. I admit I am obsessed. He is the most handsome, smart, and hilarious little boy!

3. Jeeps. Early November I purchased a 4X4 liberty. I fantasize about riding it on the beach in the outerbanks!

Wow this is really hard!

4. QVC. I watch QVC all the time to relax, but I rarely every purchase anything. It is therapeutic.

5. My closet. I am obssessed with keeping it neat. If anything is moved I freak out. Recently I reorganized it and took pictures.

Talking Turkey

Happy Thanksgiving!

Today I wanted to record a few funny things that Gabriel has come up with. After daycare I ask him about his day and what he had for lunch. He always responds with it was fun I played with friends and ate pineapple and applesauce. I then say you had pineapple and applesauce again for lunch? Then he breaks out laughing. I hope his daily updates are not always so rehearsed!

Yesterday we were discussing Thanksgiving specifically I was telling him about the Pilgrims and Indians. And he responded with, “Pilgrims, Indians, And DINOSAURS!” Do any of my friends from Plymouth remember dinosaurs at the Plimouth Plantation?

I think he is hilarious! I need a new video camera to record some of these moments.

Love Weekends

We are enjoying our weekend. Just returned from dinner at Mimis and shopping at Target! Gabriel got to pick out a toy since he was well behaved at dinner. I was so proud of him for saving me money by choosing a $5.00 dinosuar book!

In a few minutes we are going to watch some Christmas movies. I am looking forward to the holidays this year. Thursday we are going to mom and dad's house for the Thanksgiving feast. Allyson is arriving on Thanksgiving day too and we are so excited to see her.

Potty Update: Potty training at the Villareal house is not going so well. We tried out the big boy underwear technique thinking that he would want to keep them dry. Instead he decided to pee in them and try to keep it a secret. Back to pull ups for the time being.

Weekend Update

We had a nice weekend. Friday night we went out for pizza. Saturday I got my hair colored and did some errands. After that my parents came over for chinese food and a little quality time with Gabriel. Today we napped. Gabriel is still napping and it is 5:30. I think I better wake him up at 6:00 or he will be up all night.

We are staying close to home these days while potty training. Gabe is rebelling in the potty department. Today he went a few more times than usual so hopefully we are making some progress.

H1N1 Vaccine

After hundreds of calls regarding the H1N1 vaccine to Preferred Pediatrics I was informed that there was a high risk waiting list. On Monday our pediatrician gave the nurse approval to add Gabriel to this list. I am happy to report that today he received his first booster of the N1H1 vaccine. He will return in one month for the second booster. Hopefully, the first round will give him some protection.
