Boston

We just returned from a trip to Boston. Allyson had her wedding shower at my aunts house on Saturday. We had a wonderful time. It was great to reconnect with family and old friends. Allyson received some great gifts. On Saturday night we went for some traditional MA Chinese food with Allyson, Kim, Amanda, mom and dad. Gabriel enjoyed drinking duck sauce. If you are not from MA "duck sauce" is sweet and sour sauce.


On Sunday me, Hubert, and Gabe went to Boston to meet my oldest friend Lauren and her family. This visit was extra special because we got to meet her son Preston. He is perfect. We met them in their neighborhood which is the Northend of Boston (very cool area)! We ate fish and chips and cannolis at Faniuel Hall. And the boys went to the playground while the girls did some shopping. It was a great afternoon!


Sunday pm we ate at good ol' Pappa Ginos in Foxborough. The hometown of the New England Patriots. Then we started the long drive back. We spent the night in New Jersey because at a rest area in CT we realized Gabriel was covered in hives. Perhaps from drinking "duck sauce". Benadryl and a nights rest did the trick. This morning we completed the drive back to VA.
